Its always nice to break with routine and photograph a wedding day with a slightly different timetable...
Hannah and Luke are both mad-keen cyclists, so they decided to do away with the tradition of not seeing each other before the ceremony, and got up at the crack of dawn to take a cycle ride through the countryside near Tregaron, where they were later marrying at Y Talbot Hotel.
Of course, I also got up early to catch this in photographs. We'd arranged the night before to meet up at a particular spot and I shot some pictures of them high up on a hill overlooking the valley, then I drove on ahead and picked a spot where I would be able to get a shot of them cycling past.
I like this shot as a scene-setter for the day - it shows the spectacular location and has a bit of a "riding off into the future together" feel.
