Continuing my catch-up of images from 2012, here's one of my favourites from the whole year.
Taken at Islington Town Hall as Sarah prepared for her big entrance. I saw the door open a crack and quickly lined up this shot, but then the door closed again. But I waited with the camera up and ready and kept this composition for what seemed like an age, until the crack in the door reappeared.
I think I got two frames, after which the doors opened wider and the extra people in the frame changed the picture completely.
